Common questions
I moved a slider, but the app's volume didn't change
WayMix needs permission to capture other apps' audio. Open System Settings › Privacy & Security › Screen & System Audio Recording and make sure WayMix is allowed (on some versions of macOS it's listed under "System Audio Recording Only"). Then quit WayMix and open it again.
An app I'm using isn't in the list
WayMix lists apps that can play sound. If an app has just started, give the list a second to catch up, or start playing something in it.
The app goes silent for a moment when I first lower it
That's WayMix taking over the app's sound. It happens once, the first time an app goes below 100%.
My levels were gone after a restart
Without WayMix+, levels last until you quit WayMix. Leave a tip of any amount in its settings (the gear) to unlock WayMix+, and WayMix puts every app back at its level each time it opens; turn on "Open WayMix at login" too, so it's running after a restart.
How do I put everything back to normal?
Click the power button in WayMix's panel. Every app plays at its usual volume again.
How do I uninstall WayMix?
Quit it from its panel, then drag WayMix from your Applications folder to the Trash.
